Travelling routesIf you like to combine mountain, fiord and coastline, Kristiansund, Molde and Ålesund is in the reach by 3 hours with car. You can also take the spectacular train route Raumabanen from Dombås to Åndalsnes. Roundtrips that gives you Trollveggen, Trollstigen, Geiranger, Lom and Vågå within a 7 hour car trip, is also possible even if we recommend a longer stop at all places. Some of the best nature attractions in Norway are on this route. A shorter trip is to drive or bicycle towards the valley of Grimsdalen after passing Dombås. First you can visit the middle age farm Budsjord with their museum and antiques. Then you continue into the beautiful mountain valley where you can stop at the café of Grimsdalshytta or Bergseng Seter with traditional dairy farming. At the end of the valley you will come out in the village of Folldal. Here are the old mines where they offer guided tour 600 meter into the mountain. At the end you can stop at The Wild Reindeer Centre at Hjerkinn, before you return to Furuhaugli. Distance
